When I opened the email this morning for “inquiries-at-saltmarsh-ranch-dot-com,” here’s what popped up:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I’m interested in buying a starter flock of Soapy sheep, Could you please advise regarding the prices and the airfreight cost to Doha, Qatar ?

How could I possibly make this up? I apologize for the absence of any “related posts.” Apparently WordPress doesn’t yet have an algorithm that will pick up “Soapy Sheep,” but I’ll bet they are working feverishly at it.

(and my city friends back in Chicago wonder why I gave up the “excitement” of practicing law for the boredom of raising sheep)
