Home visit to the new adoptee: Tiny Tim
So many of you have asked whether Tiny Tim’s adoption by Lindsey worked out that an additional post seems the most efficient way to share news of his progress.
Bottom line: this little Soay sheep is just fine. He loves his new mom and he is fearless in the lamb play yard. Rather than run on about all his fine points, how about a few pictures.
First up, Tiny Tim with mama Lindsey in the sunny play yard (no grass, too many little hooves and big mouths), and then by way of contrast, his pushy big twin sister with their birth mother, Reeth – pictures taken within minutes of each other. Note size contrast!

We had a special houseguest last week, our friend Ida, a professional cellist from Ohio, who came all the way out to Oregon just to be here for lambing. She took this lovely picture of Tiny Tim posing a couple of days later with Lindsey. Is this a contented mother/son pair or what?
